Day 3: International Sustainability Week
Tue 27/09/2022
At Sekurit Service we’re acknowledging European Sustainable Development Week, 26 – 30 September, 2022 by creating our own Sustainability Week - with a programme of activities and knowledge transfer.
It’s a great way to share some of our initiatives and goals in our collective engagement towards sustainability to support the Saint-Gobain purpose of making the world a better and more sustainable place to live.
At Sekurit Service we are:
Health & Safety
At Sekurit Service, our top priority is to guarantee the health and safety of all our employees and stakeholders throughout the entire value chain: from employees and suppliers to local residents around our sites and the end users of our products and solutions.
As part of the Saint-Gobain group, we follow the most stringent EHS standards, laid down in our own EHS charter:
• ZERO work related accidents
• ZERO occupational illnesses
• ZERO environmental accidents and minimum impact of our activities
Saint-Gobain has been a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact since 2003 and we’re committed to respecting the United Nations guiding principles on business and human rights.
We’re fully aligned with Saint-Gobain’s guidelines on business ethics, expressed in the document Principles of Conduct and Action – for compliance, anti-bribery, antitrust law, human rights, responsible purchases and high-risk materials policy.
To raise awareness for business ethics within the company and to ensure ethical business practices, Saint-Gobain developed dedicated e-learning programmes on EHS:
We value and strive for diversity, in all its forms, in our teams, in order to create an environment that fosters fairness and equality, which is crucial to the professional fulfilment of employees.
We promote gender equality through our hiring process, Saint-Gobain‘s sponsoring programme, personalised training and dedicated networking.
In 2021, 31% of our executives were women and we have the objective to reach
35% in 2025.
